Thank you for visiting us online at the ReGenesis Center. April 1, 2025 marked completion of the 25th year in online clinical laboratory service to the public at EnteroLab.com. When I launched EnteroLab in 2000 as a major departure from my then traditional academic medical profession, I did so because my research and then new fecal antibody testing methodology revealed how huge a public health problem “Gluten Sensitivity” was and would come to be.
Twenty-five years later, I now know gluten was just the first of the highly antigenic foods universally eaten in large quantities to create a huge immune fire in people which, in turn, causes other inflammation-mediated problems in the body. However, today this is not only a gluten sensitivity problem; it is an antigenic food sensitivity problem which is why a gluten-free diet alone no longer works to resolve these issues. The anti-inflammatory diet necessary to address the health problems of today I now call “The New Reality DietTM”.
Over the past 25 years we have seen huge spikes in the prevalence of multiple food sensitivities, intestinal malabsorption, autism, psychoneurologic, autoimmune and chronic immune disease, obesity, many forms of cancer, and an overall declining health of all age groups including children, teenagers and young adults. We have research evidence that this stems from, among other reasons, hyper-stimulation of the immune system from environmental stimuli, as well as poly-vaccination.
Therefore, analysis from our lab showing multiple positive results to many, and often, all antigenic foods has become so commonplace as to be the rule. This was far from the case when we started this form of testing in 2008, occurring so rarely it was memorable and noteworthy on those rare occasions it was seen. Thus, we have witnessed a progressive epidemic of sorts of increasing generalized hyperimmunity, whereby the foods we eat stimulate immune response almost like a vaccine. This certainly makes figuring out what and how to eat without stimulating this immune fire challenging.
